Ahhhh! Thats better... My cats are convinced. Sit by the radiator, your feet up, two fingers of Glenfiddich (no ice you heathen sassanachs), sniff the odd burnt match, and you can even program it to switch off in case you drift off to sleep. I found myself worrying that my iPad might be scorched....
Really a nice App BUT I am waiting for the update to play my own music. Come on!!

They stooped playing music with our local cable fireplace so this is the perfect alternative. Even choose your own music!
This is the best one that I have seen so far and I have not had any problems!
Works well and is a nice treat for the family while we open presents on Christmas !!!! Well done

Some bad moments

Buggy... Doesnt show full screen (I.e. Zooms in to one part) and freezes if you exit from the app.... Nothing like the pictures... A big disappointment
Very disappointing. I sent a report but nothing has happened yet. The screen goes black when I press play.
I loved the idea of a crackling fireplace at my command. So I bought this app without reading any reviews (never wise!), and started as soon as it finished a quick download. And it was just as beautiful as I had imagined...until I heard a gap in the sound. At first I thought it was a fluke and ignored it, but then it became apparent that the gap in sound was very regular and about every 20 seconds Id say (I didnt time it). Thing is, I dont know that I would have caught or minded the looping if the sound didnt abruptly stop for about a second then continue at the beginning of the loop. And unfortunately, that gap is enough to disrupt the meditative state that was forming as I gazed into the fire. So disappointing and it seems that it would have been so easy to avoid the gap.
By the minute. 2 one finger typed reviews I have had deleted by Apple now for nickname violations - so much fun to be so annoyed and to be typing this with one finger and only find out when you hit send that youve broken some rule - hey apple- how about you dont delete my review and make me type it all over for your stupid nickname rule?? I bought this app because it was advertised as being able to be watched on Apple TV via AirPlay while listening to something else, e.g. Pandora. I have been unable to get that to work and have been unable to get an explanation, help or even a response from the app developer. Either provide what you advertise, quor quit advertising it
Love it perfect for cold winter days my money is best spent on this app love it its great
Ive tried most of the fireplace apps available and although this seems to be the best its not my favorite. It constantly crashes when I try to airplay. I love the fire but I want MY music playlist. Disappointed.
